SoLO’s Zip Wire and Zumba Fundraiser!

The big fundraiser this year (following on from the Abseil and Hot Coals challenge) was the Zip Wire and Zumba challenge in Heart Park! Volunteers and supporters jumped off the tower to brave a 200ft Zip Wire and the energetic ones took part in a Zumba marathon – all to raise money for the charity.

Famous names such as Nick Owen and Blind Dave Healey appeared at the event and the whole day was a real success. See if you can spot yourself!

Dorridge Fun Run 2012!

This year SoLO was one of the main fundraisers at the Dorridge Fun Run; volunteers flocked to cycle or run either 3 or 8 miles around Dorridge in order to raise money for a group of charities.

It was a really fun day, full of cupcakes and SoLO fleeces – and tonnes of support from runners and cyclists bearing the SoLO logo on their chests!
