About SoLO Voice

The SoLO Voice  are the `voice` for SoLO members with Scott Embley acting as the `Voice Ambassador`.

The SoLO Voice group arrange project visits  with individual members and Trustees, so that they can find out what is happening on projects and what our members really think.

Visits happen throughout the year and are reported back to Trustees as they take place.

The SoLO Voice group are also involved in the planning of the yearly SoLO Members Ball and provide crucial input so that the ball is an inclusive event for all those attending.

SoLO Voice play an important role within SoLO allowing us to evolve in a way that embraces the the thoughts and feelings of SoLO`s members.

Meet Your SoLO Voice Representatives

Scott Embley

Scott Embley

Voice Ambassador

Hi my name is Scott Embley and I am your Voice Ambassador.  I have been involved with SoLO now for many years. I started as a member attending a drama group at Coronation Youth Centre. I then was invited to join the old service user reference group and then got involved in delivering disability awareness training. I was elected to sit on the board of trustees as the member representative making sure that their views are heard.

SoLO is a passion of mine, because it enables members with a learning disability to fulfil their dreams and aspirations which they wouldn’t normally have in life. If there is anything that you feel the Voice Group could do to help with SoLO – please get in contact with me at info@solihullsolo.org
