About SURG - Who we are
- SURG was set up to ensure that SoLO really represents it's members.
- SURG members attend various SoLO projects
- We meet every 6 weeks.
- We learn new skills. We run our own meetings and set our own agendas.
- We elect our chairperson, secretary and treasurer.
- We tell the management committee what members think of SoLO and the projects they are from.
- We are involved in new projects and decisions that SoLO make.
- We will represent SoLO at other meetings such as Solihull Youth Council.
- Our first meeting was in October 2004.
- We listen to what other members tell us and speak up for them.
